Soccer Camp 2008
Soccer Camps are a regular feature of PAC holiday programmes. This year we are delighted to announce that we have joined forces with the Scottish Football Association (SFA) and will be ‘piggy-backing’ the SFA Summer Holiday Coaching Courses which will be running in West Linton during the last week of the school holidays from the 11th to 15th August 2008.
The aim of these courses is to provide opportunities for all to participate in and enjoy football regardless of age, gender, race or ability.
Qualified and experienced SFA coaches will deliver two separate 5 - day courses:
SFA Football First Course (mornings)
This is an introductory course for boys and girls aged 5-7 who are looking to have fun and improve their skills. The course is suitable for both the first-time player and the youngster who just wants to come along to play football.
SFA Premier Performers Course (afternoons)
This course is for 8-11 year olds who are looking to have fun and further develop their skills. Each day a different theme of coaching will be delivered based around the teams who are competing in the Champions League or Premier League.

Dates: 11th to 15th August 2008
Location: West Linton playing fields, Deanfoot Rd, West Linton
Times: SFA Football First Course (5 -7 yr old) 10.30am – 12 noon
SFA Premier Performers (8 – starting S1) 1.00pm – 3.00pm
(There can be an degree of flexibility in terms of which group would best suit a child – factors such as footballing ability/confidence, peer group etc can be considered when deciding the optimum group for each child. Please don’t hesitate to discuss this with us.)
Cost SFA Football First Course £18.00 for 5 days
SFA Premier Performers Course £22.00 for 5 days
Discount rates apply for family groups when more than one sibling attends either of the courses. When one child is registered on either course, all siblings receive a 50% discount off the cheaper course.
Children attending PAC’s multi-activity day camps that week will automatically, without additional charge, be able to access the SFA courses as part of their time at PAC. These children will be safely transported from PAC to the playing fields in West Linton for their appropriate course and return them to PAC afterwards (approx 1.5. miles).
