Welcome to PAC 2010
What we are: PAC offers holiday adventure and activity for children and young teenagers. We are based in the beautiful Scottish Borders, in the village of West Linton, only 12 miles south of Edinburgh.
Who runs it: Established in 2005, PAC is owned. organised and run by Ian Reid and Lindsay Mann. Both are local residents who, between them, have over thirty years professional experience of working with children in a variety of childcare settings.
When we run it: This year’s PAC camps will be run on a day basis from Monday to Friday during the Easter and Summer holidays. The structured activity programme will run from 9 am to 5 pm – an “extra time" service is also available before and after these times.
Each child participates in a wide range of activities, both outdoors and indoors, run by the PAC team and a number of visiting specialists. The emphasis is on having fun, excitement and new experiences in a healthy, positive and safe environment. The ethos of PAC is to make each child feel unique and valued, with the age sensitive programme allowing the child to grow in self-confidence and social skills.
We are a small company which prides itself in choosing the right staff team to support the children throughout the week. The team is skilled and enthusiastic, with plenty of experience of working with groups of children and young people. All staff members are police-checked through Disclosure Scotland and go through our selection and training process.
PAC is a member of Tweed Valley, our local tourist group.
